DISTRIBUTION

This species is globally distributed in the Paleotropics. Within India, it is distributed in the coastal regions of Orissa, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and the Andamans; often it runs wild; also reported to be growing in Arunachal Pradesh.
