DISTRIBUTION
|
This species is indigenous to north-east India and adjacent areas, where it is still found wild, particularly in the foot-hills of the Himalayas, Khasi hills and Garo hills of Meghalaya. Its cultivation has not attained any commercial importance but the tree is grown in home gardens and orchards.
