DISTRIBUTION

This species is endemic to Peninsular India. It has been recorded in the drier parts of Maharashtra (Raighad district), Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka (Belgaum, Bellary, Bidar, Bijapur, Dharwad, Chitradurga, Kolar), Kerala (Marayur forest, Chinnar, Idukki districts) and Tamil Nadu (Chengalpattu, Coimbatore, Madurai, Nilgiri, North and South Arcot, Ramanathapuram, Tirunelveli). WOI - This species is found throughout the Deccan Peninsula extending northwards to Bundelkhand and parts of Bihar.
