DISTRIBUTION

This species is globally distributed in Europe and West Asia. Within India, it has been recorded in Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh (Lahaul - Spiti : Frequent on dry slopes. Sansha-Jalma. The plant has localized distribution and occurs only in Pattan valley while absent from the Chandra and Bhaga valleys) and Uttar Pradesh between an altitude range of 2400-3300 metres
