DISTRIBUTION
|
This species is globally distributed from Tropical Africa to Myanmar. Within India, it is found abundantly throughout the plains of India and in the dry hills of the lower Himalayas up to an altitude of 1500 metres It is cultivated in sandy soils near the sea-shore in the Deccan Peninsula and on an experimental basis in the lower Himalayas.
