DISTRIBUTION
|
This species is native to Mediterranean region, globally distributed in the mediterranean region eastwards to Myanmar. Within India, it has been recorded from Kashmir to eastern India, up to an altitude of 2400 metres, extending southwards into Peninsular India; it is also cultivated for ornament in gardens.
